Need to Ask Alloporus a question?

Environmental issues are often confusing. It is hard to decide if an issue is real, just a passing problem, or something to be really worried about.

The media spins most issues until they are unrecognizable, making our heads spin too. I cannot think of one report that actually gives a balanced view.

Ask Alloporus is spin free and pragmatic. I will always do my very best to give you a straight, no nonsense answer to each honest question.

So if you want to know if recycling will work, or if climate change deniers are right, or what can be done about saving elephants from extinction then ask away.

It’s free and as easy as filling in the form below.

Just add a title and a short description of your question in the boxes below.

Who answers the question?

Whenever I can I will answer the question myself.

I have been around as a college professor, in the commercial consulting world and on government committees for over 30 years tackling environmental issues of all kinds.

My work has covered soils, biodiversity, wildlife, environmental legislation and most things around natural resource management. You can see a list of projects on the website of my consulting practice alloporus environmental.

You can read more of the formal stuffiness on my LinkedIn profile

It’s has been a varied experience from the farm to the boardroom but, contrary to the opinion of my kids, I don't have an answer for everything, so...

when I’m stumped Ask Alloporus has a network of expert friends who are happy to assist with an answer.

What happens to your question?

Ask Alloporus will answer your question as pragmatically as possible.

It has been my way of doing things to try and 'tell it as I see it'. This can mean that the answer is unexpected or fails to follow convention. Whatever it is you can be sure that I have thought about it and tried my best to answer truthfully and clearly.

If you like, I will post your question and answer as a new page on the Ask Alloporus website that others will see and hopefully comment on. If you prefer an offline response, then that is fine too.

You have the option of email notification when the page goes live. Ask Alloporus will not use your email for any purpose other than notifying you of what has happened with your question.
